Venice Travel Guide: Cheap hotels in Venice

There are several tips for finding a cheap and good hotel in Venice, which we believe will help you significantly to have a great accommodation and to enjoy your Venice holiday.

-         Use the major booking web-sites such as http://www.booking.com/, http://www.hotels.com, http://www.venere.com/ , http://www.agoda.com etc. and use the e-mail notifications option for the periodical special deals for each location. Using these offers might allow you to book a highly rated and usually very expensive hotel with a great discount and pay for it as much as for a hostel

-         Book a hotel in some of the locations near Venice – Mestre, Lido di Jesolo or Treviso. The benefits of this option are that you can book a good and cheap hotel, which will allow you to stay a night or two more and also to get to know the town you are staying at. You can be certain that all three above mentioned towns are very beautiful and interesting (just like every Italian town).

Book a hostel or a bed and breakfast apartment, ensuring you will benefit from their traditionally lower prices. Web-sites such as http://www.hostels.com, http://www.hostelworld.com, http://www.bedandbreakfastworld.com/, http://www.bedandbreakfast.com etc. can allow you to find a cheap accommodation. This option is very useful when you are traveling with a big group or planning a longer stay.
